Ink performance on media: After printing the ink performance (adhesion, weatherability, etc.) differs from media to media. For not mentioned materials we suggest a preliminary printing test. As adhesion differs from material to material, it may be necessary to apply a primer on the print media to improve the ink adhesion.
UV lamp: One of UV lamps characteristics is the slight deterioration. Power decreases after about 1000 h utilization. It is however possible to use UV lamps after 1000h but power gradually decreases. Therefore we highly recommend you often verify the power and the polymerization capacity.
Software: Intuitive touch screen graphic user interface to control the various plotter components. USB2 + Ethernet Controller 10/100 to manage the print files with the remote computer. Software RIP ONYX-ASTER Plus edition.
